History
We are incorporated in 2001 (Formerly known by CL Makmur Trading), started from a small engineering parts trading company, has grown to a all-in-one engineering company, comprises engineering consultation, technical advise, parts trading, engines servicing and overhauling in Malaysia.
Starting from 2002. we supplied and commissioned many small to medium size marine engines and generator sets, supply of spare parts and provide in situ engines services/overhaul to commercial marine and commercial fishing vessels in Malaysia markets.

REINTJES Gearbox
We actively participated in marine engines and gearbox servicing, spare parts supply for the Fishery Department, Marine Department and JKR Ferry fleets in rural areas.
In 2016, we were appointed as the REINTJES gearbox distributor for Malaysia Government market, covered marine gearbox sales, spare parts and services support specially to Royal Malaysian Navy, Malaysia Maritime Enforcement Agency vessels.
With the principal supports, we actively participate in various government projects, including supply high speed main engines, stern drive, hybrid propulsion system for RMN, MMEA and Marine Department’s new build and repowering vessels.
Onan
In 2005, we successfully acquired Onan marine generator sets agency for Malaysia market. With this product in place, we started to invest in generator set testing facility, special tools, spare parts and service supports for the Onan generator sets and other equipment sold into Malaysia market.
In the same year, we reached an agreement with Cummins distributor office here to be their sales agent for Cummins marine engines for commercial marine and fishing boats markets.
Later after successful sales, we also became the reseller of high horsepower’s Cummins marine engines to both commercial marine and commercial fishing markets in Malaysia.

- After 17 years in market, most boat builders and shipyards in Malaysia recognized S.S. Makmur’s capability of supply new marine engines, gearboxes, generator sets and control system for their new build vessels and repowering projects, example : KD Baung (FAC Gun boat) repowering project for Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN)
